A few days ago we asked our community to record their own very special thound for the anniversary of John Lennon birthday, and we have then received so many good tunes we want to share.
Did you know there is quite a few functions in it?
Like customizing your profile URL with your nickname or connecting your Facebook and Twitter account, selecting what notifications to receive by email, etc
A more detailed overview:
Profile public URL
get a short url like http://thounds.com/alldrums instead of the long standard http://thounds.com/users/34293 (both examples)
the name can be 8 to 16 characters long, A-Z, 0-9 and “-”
Notifications and Reports
Select or unselect what kind of notifications you wish to receive by email, amongst friendship requests, friendship confirmations, new messages, new lines on your thounds, etc
Connections
You can connect your Thounds account to those on SoundCloud, Facebook and Twitter you have.
Connecting with SoundCloud allows to export your music from Thounds to SoundCloud.
With Facebook you will get automatic status updates when you record new music and same with Twitter.
